Specific Skills
- Assign duties to sales workers and prepare their schedule
- Authorize payments by cheque, and return of merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters and report to store manager
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and resolve them
- Organize and maintain inventory of the store
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other workers
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
