The duties of the Retail salespersons (NOC 64100) will be as follows:



• Operate computerized inventory record keeping and cash register.

• Provide advice about merchandise.

• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.

• Maintain sales records for inventory control.

• Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease.

• Prepare merchandise, sales, rental or leasing contracts for purchase, rental or lease.

• Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment and Internet-based electronic commerce.



Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.

• Experience in relevant field is an asset.
