Skills Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
  • Work experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a retail store supervisor is required

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of cashiers and gas station attendants 
  •  Assign tasks and create work schedules for cashiers and attendants 
  •  Authorize transactions and manage returns for merchandise, including convenience store items, vape section and deli products 
  •  Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and inventory issues 
  •  Monitor inventory levels of gas, diesel and propane tanks and manage merchandise orders for store items, including grocery, snacks, beverages, household supplies, frozen food, hot food, tobacco and vape products 
  •  Prepare sales reports and analyze performance metrics related to sales and staffing 
  •  Recruit, train, and assess the performance of new cashiers and attendants 
  •  Ensure the store's visual standards are upheld, including cleanliness, displays, and signage 
  •  Occasionally perform cashier and attendant duties as needed 
  • Handle key holding and managerial responsibilities as required, such as store openings, escalated complaints, and delivery signoffs
