Skills Requirements:

• Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
• Work experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a retail supervisor is required.

Job Duties:

•             Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the gas retail business, convenience store, grocery store and car wash area 

•             Assign duties to subordinate staff and prepare work schedules to ensure proper coverage during all operating hours 

•             Authorize payments and handle the return of merchandise, ensuring transactions are processed according to store policies 

•             Resolve issues that arise, such as customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and operational continuity 

•             Monitor and maintain inventory levels of gas, diesel, DEF, propane cylinders and order merchandise including lottery tickets, tobacco products, snacks, beverages, firewood etc., to ensure the store is well-stocked and prepared for customer needs 

•             Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising strategies, and personnel performance to assist in business decision-making 

•             Hire, train, or arrange for the training of new staff, and monitor their performance to ensure high service standards 

•             Ensure the visual standards and overall image of the store, including product displays, signage, and cleanliness, are maintained to create an inviting shopping environment 

•             Support the team by performing same duties as workers supervised when necessary to maintain service levels during business hours  

•             Perform key holding and managerial duties as needed, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries
