Rice and Noodle Restaurant is looking for F/T Frist Cooks
Position Info:
- Position: First Cook
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $23.00~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: Location: 1661 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2J5
Benefits:
- 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepares complete meals and individual food items
- Order kitchen supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Keep kitchen and work areas to be clean and sanitized
- Supervise kitchen helpers and other staff
- Plan menus, establish size of food portions, and predict food requirements and costs
- Train other kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling food items
- Participate in recruiting and hiring kitchen staff
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
