Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $34.00-$37.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 2038 Rocking Horse Pl, Nanoose Bay, BC V9P 9C2

Job Duties:

• Monitor daily revenues and analyze sales reports to effectively control and manage labour costs
• Assist the Manager in planning and organizing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Support the Manager in setting and adjusting staff work schedules
• Support budget preparation by tracking costs of food, beverages, and supplies under the Manager’s direction
• Assist in modifying food preparation methods and adjusting menu prices to align with the restaurant’s budget
• Supervise and assist in training staff to maintain service quality and support daily operations
• Determine the types of services to be offered and support the implementation of operational procedures
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and escalate significant issues to the Restaurant Manager

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
