T. Hamilton and Son Roofing Inc. is a third-generation family owned and operated company which specializes in Commercial and Industrial Roofing with a combined experience of over 100 years.  Since 1977, T. Hamilton and Son Roofing Inc.  has been providing roofing installations and services in the residential and commercial space, consistently meeting their client expectations.

We are currently looking for 8 Roofers to join our team based out of Scarborough Ontario.  Our Roofers install, repair and replace flat roofs as well as shingles, shakes or other roofing tiles on sloped roofs and perform other related activities at construction sites.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings

·       Install, repair or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel

·       Install sheet metal flashings

·       Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions

·       Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces

·       Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools

·       Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs

·       May estimate materials required and quote costs.

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

·      Minimum 3 years’ experience in roofing required;

·      Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;

·      Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
