Description
Mitchell Metal Recycling Ltd is looking for One Permanent, Full-time position for Senior Bookkeeper to assist in running our growing firm and could join immediately.
Location: 12100 Mitchell Rd, Richmond, BC, V6V1M8
Compensation: $27 per hour
Work hours: 30 hours/week
Terms: Permanent Full-Time
Language of Work: English
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Perform all functions related to the collection of receivables, including proactive account review, ongoing monitoring.
- Verify payables for accuracy and resolve discrepancy issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure correct monthly closing of books of accounts by posting relevant month end journal entries.
- Preparing & reconciliations of monthly/periodic financial statements & analyze financial records and transactions to correct errors and make required changes.
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills.
- Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents.
- Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services.
Skills and Education:
- 2-3 years of direct related experience
- Completion of a diploma/degree in the field is required.
- Completion of Secondary School
