Description
We are looking for well experienced Sous-Chef for well-known resort Friday Harbour Resort located at 2101 Innisfil Beach Road Innisfil, ON L9S 1A1 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
- Produce high-quality plates both design and taste-wise.
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
- Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish a working schedule and assess staff’s performance.
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
- Assure kitchen personnel are trained in the best cleanliness and sanitation practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $ 19 to $ 25 per hour for 30 to 44 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
