Job Position: Store Manager – retail (NOC 60020)

Responsibilities:
– Plan, direct, and evaluate the overall operations of the Return-It Depot, ensuring efficient, safe, and customer-focused service.
– Manage staff scheduling, delegate duties, and oversee daily performance of office, cashier, and volunteer personnel.
– Monitor inventory levels of beverage containers and other recyclables; coordinate timely procurement and shipment of materials.
– Develop and implement local marketing and community engagement strategies to increase public awareness and usage of depot services.
– Maintain and enforce pricing, credit, and safety policies in accordance with company and environmental regulations.
– Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain staff, promoting professional development and a collaborative workplace culture.
– Resolve operational issues and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
-Secondary school graduation is usually required
– A diploma or degree in business administration or a related field is an asset.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Minimum 2–3 years of progressive experience in retail or operations management, including supervisory roles.
