Description

Main duties

• Day-to-day responsibilities include checking inventory, ensuring items past the sell-by date are removed, and making sure needed items are in stock.
• Negotiating prices with vendors and restocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage and cleanliness
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Providing guidance for employees, scheduling shifts, and handling disciplinary actions as needed.
• Handle customers questions, concerns, complains, etc.
• Mostly work indoors, but may need conduct travel related to new or continuing products

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent
• At least 3 years related previous managerial experience
•  Leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate well verbally and orally, are needed in this role.
• Lift and move heavy boxes of produce.
• Create and merchandise produce displays, making sure only high-quality produce is presented
• Excellent computer skills, familiar with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint. etc/
• Korean, Japanese and Chinese language are preferred to communicate with vendors and suppliers
