Position Info:

     ·           Position: Restaurant Cook

     ·           Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

     ·           Wage: $17.40~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

     ·           Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

     ·           Number of Positions:  2

     ·           Work Location: #3, 9831 98A Avenue Fort St. John, BC V1J 1S3

 

Benefits:

      ·           4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

     ·           Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

     ·           Plan new menu items, regulate the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies

     ·           Supervise kitchen operations and kitchen assistants and helpers

     ·           Keep track of inventory and maintain records of food, supplies, and equipment

     ·           Ensure the kitchen is tidy and sanitize work areas

     ·           Participate in the recruitment and training of new kitchen staff for preparation and cooking

 

Job requirements:

      ·           Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

      ·           Education: Completion of secondary school is required

      ·           Language: English
