Position: Cook

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $14.00-18.00 /Hour (depending on experience)

Working hours: 30-40 hours/Week

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

  Job Duties:

• Prepares a various food items utilizing standardized recipes.
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized everyday
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Maintain accurate food inventories and supplies
• Ensure kitchen helpers are properly supervised
• Monitor overall kitchen operation and resolve any rising issue in the kitchen
• May create menus, regulate size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies

• May involve in hiring process and train kitchen staff in each item in the menu

  Job requirements:

• 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

Educational Requirements:

• Secondary school
