Position Info:

• Position: Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $28.85~$31.85/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 7254 B Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz, BC V0M 1A0

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty dishes
• Coordinate and oversee the restaurant’s food preparation and cooking processes
• Create menus and ensure that food adheres to quality standards
• Assess the needs and expenses for necessary supplies, including food and labor costs
• Supervise activities of kitchen staff
• Assist in the recruitment and hiring of staff
• Train and instruct kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
