Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $22.50~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 1-612 Head St, Victoria, BC V9A 5S8

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

·         Estimate food requirements and food costs

·         Supervise activities of other cooks and kitchen staffs

·         Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs

·         Recruit and hire cooks and kitchen staff

·         Prepare and cook complete meals

·         Create new recipes

·         Instruct cooks in food preparation

·         Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years work experience as a chef is required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
