Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $15.30 ~ $18.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 2-1235 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, MB R3T 2A9

 

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

• May plan menus, decide on the sizes of servings, and estimate food costs and needs
• Prepare and cook entire meals following the restaurant's recipes
• Keep track of the inventory levels for food supplies and cooking equipment
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Ensure that the kitchen and workstation clean and sanitized
• Potentially participate in hiring and providing training kitchen staff

 

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in commercial cooking are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
