Drop the Ink Toronto is looking for full-time permanent Tattoo Artists to join as the team members as soon as possible.

Location: 559 Bloor St W, 2ND FL, Toronto, ON M5S 1Y6

Hourly rate: $17.50 to $23.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Vacancies: 2

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time (30 to 40 hours / week)

Start date: As soon as possible

Work Setting: Tattoo studio

Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 to 3 years of work experience as a tattoo artist

Job Duties

• Consult with and advise clients with respect to size, color, design and placement of 

body art

• Use a demographer to permanently pigment the client’s skin with chemical dyes 

• Clean and sterilize tattoo equipment and work areas

• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols

• Perform tattoo repairs, cover-ups, and touch-ups

• Establish and maintain clientele

• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmation

• Advise on skin aftercare instructions
