Drop the Ink Calgary is looking for full-time permanent tattooists to join as the team members as soon as possible.

Location: UNIT #102, 5824 2 Street SW, Calgary, AB T2H 0H2
Hourly rate: $22.00 to $30.00 / hour (To be negotiated)
Vacancies: 5
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time (30 to 44 hours / week)
Start date: As soon as possible
Work Setting: Tattoo studio
Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 to 3 years of work experience as a tattoo artist
Job Duties
• Consult with and advise clients with respect to size, color, design and placement of
body art
• Use a demographer to permanently pigment the client’s skin with chemical dyes
• Clean and sterilize tattoo equipment and work areas
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
• Perform tattoo repairs, cover-ups, and touch-ups
• Establish and maintain clientele
• Manage appointment scheduling and confirmation
• Advise on skin aftercare instructions
