The Parlour Restaurant is looking for F/T Cooks.

Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $18.00~$21.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 1011 Hamilton Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 5T4

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals and packages for customers
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Clean kitchen and organize work areas
• Maintain and check kitchen inventory, supplies and equipment
• Order kitchen supplies and equipment when needed
• Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling the dishes
• May supervise kitchen staff and helpers

 

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of Secondary School is required
• Language: English
