Job Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare, measure, and mark the surface for tiling.
- Construct underbeds and securely install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
- Blend and apply mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.
- Position tiles accurately and firmly press them onto the base.
- Ensure alignment and straightness using levels, squares, and straightedges.
- Utilize hand and power cutting tools to accurately cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings.
- Fill tile joints with grout, ensuring proper packing and removal of excess.
- Affix tile strips as needed.
- Prepare, lay, and refine terra surfaces.
- Precisely cut, polish, and install marble and granite.
- Replace cracked or damaged tiles as required.
- Additionally, may be responsible for estimating costs and placing orders.
