Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $16.00~$18.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 823 Main Street, Moncton, NB E1C 1G1

• 4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook entire meals according to the restaurant’s recipes
• Plan and develop new menus, decide on the size of servings, and estimate food requirements and expenses
• Prepare meals for customers who have dietary allergies or intolerances
• Maintain the kitchen and work area clean and sanitized
• Monitor the inventory levels and order food supplies
• May recruit and provide training kitchen staff if necessary
• Oversee kitchen operations

 

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
