Work Schedule:

Two Shifts per day, from Monday – Saturday: 1 pm to 4 pm, and from 11 pm to 2 am

Responsibility:

Monday – Saturday: from 1 pm to 4 pm

Organize the inventory area and sort and load large packages in our Large Package (LP) Route
Plan and oversee operational logistics of the organization to ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
Provide training to LP Route drivers and responsible for the activities adhering to company safety policies
Interface with warehouse staff to solve any import and export questions and supervise daily shipments
Act as a backup for the warehouse team to resolve miscellaneous problems like claims on damage and exchange products
Work as a helper of the company’s LP Route, helping LP Route driver to pick up and deliver large packages to designated customer locations and plan and navigate the route

Monday – Saturday: from 11 pm to 2 am

Update and maintain the company resource database, such as the number, type, cost, volume capacity, and loading preference of company fleet, list, and price of drivers, etc., in Dynamic Route Optimization system
Optimize daily work area plan in the DRO system based on daily volume and operation constraints to improve operational efficiency
Report any unexpected volume surge to management, and help management in rescheduling the workforce accordingly if necessary
Generate daily manifest for each work area
Analyze daily and seasonal volume fluctuation and help management in the planning of company resources of both short-term and long-term

Requirements:

Must have minimum secondary school education or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in a business setting, knowledge in inventory management, transportation or logistics would be an asset
Experience in a supervisor capacity, management skills
Be familiar with basic computer software, such as Excel, Outlook; experience with DRO system is not required but a plus
Be able to move and lift packages up to 150 lbs
Must be both mentally and physically fit to be working in a fast pace working environment
Excellent problem-solving ability and strong interpersonal skills
