NOC Job Title: Truck driver, tractor-trailer
Salary: $21.00/hour for 40 hours/week
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Language: English
Minimum Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Communication Systems Experience:
Operate GPS and other navigation equipment
Documentation Knowledge:
Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Accident or incident reports, trip reports, maintenance and repair reports, trans-border documentation, driver logbook
Job Description:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Load and unload goods.
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Perform brake adjustments.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
Transportation /Travel Experience: Short haul
Type of trucking and equipment: Tractor-trailer
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses ,etc.): Air brakes endorsement, Drivers’ license (Class 1 or A)
