Securicom Solutions is looking for a user support technician to join our team.
Title: User Support Technician
Employer: Securicom Solutions
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 40.00 – CAD 45.00 per hour (negotiable)
Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 201-750 Denman Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 2L5
Requirements:
- College or other courses in computer programming, network administration is asset
- 3+ years of work experience in related field
Main Duties:
- Communicate with users who are having problems, both remotely and onsite, to determine and document the issues they are facing.
- To investigate and execute solutions, consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documentation.
- Give direction users with guidance and training in response to recognized problems
- Gather, sort out and keep a log of problems and solutions for use by other technical support analysts
- Diagnose, fix and reproduce the issues that users are facing
- Cooperate in the redeveloping of software
