Job Requirements:
1. Education – Diploma Veterinary technician, Foreign veterinary graduate, or equivalent experience in Animal Sciences
2. Credentials Registered Animal Health Technologist or eligible
3. Experience Up to 1 year
Specific Skills:
– Administer treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian and veterinary office management.
– Produce diagnostic radiographs, collect samples, and perform other laboratory tests.
– Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian.
– Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery.
– Counsel clients on animal health care and conduct specialized procedures
– Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery
– Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals.
– Provide wound and bandage care.
– Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist veterinarians with animal dentistry

Wage: $27 hourly for 40- hours per week
