Hours (each week): 32 hours per Week

 

Location of Work: 9149 Webster Road Glencairn ON L0M 1K0

 

Education: High school diploma required

 

Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of Experience in a related clerical occupation or as a warehouse worker may be required.

 

 

Job duties:

This person will be responsible for preparing and shipping, receiving and handling/storing of our products while maintaining the warehouse in safe and orderly fashion. When required will also do pick-ups, deliver products between our locations as well as to customers’ homes and  new construction sites.

 

Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer

Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions

Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances

Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods

Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas

Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems

May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

 

 

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate must possess an excellent organization, communication and customer service skills. Driver's licence with a clean driver’s abstract (copy required), forklift licence is an asset, must be able to lift about 50 lbs.
