1254316 B.C. Ltd. DBA Invitation Indian Cuisine is looking for 2 Full-time Cooks at 2876 Mill St Chemainus, BC V0R 1K0. (Even though this position is full-time position, we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 20 dollars per hour and no. of hours are 40 per week.
Main duties:
Learn and prepare the restaurant's current menu
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
Oversee kitchen operations
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
May clean kitchen and work area
May plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
May hire and train kitchen staff.
Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School. At least 2 years experience of cooking in a commercial kitchen environment or the combination of education in cooking andat least one year experience of cooking in a commercial kitchen environment
