IN-HOME CAREGIVER (QUÉBEC – H3Y 2T8)

Description

A busy professional family in Westmount is seeking a permanent, full-time caregiver to care for two children while also handling light housekeeping and other domestic tasks. The position requires 32 hours per week over six days, with split shifts from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM (Monday to Friday), and a Saturday schedule of 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Day off is usually Sunday, but flexibility is essential depending on the employer’s work schedule. The caregiver will be responsible for ensuring the children’s well-being in the parents’ absence, maintaining a clean and organized home, assisting with meal preparation, and supporting daily routines. The salary is $34.63 per hour, and the option to live in with the family at no cost is available. The ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable, and experienced in childcare and household management, with the ability to communicate in either French or English.

*Educational level required:

General High school diploma – Completed 

*Experience related to employment:

1-2 Years of experience with children or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a teacher, nurse, midwife, or psychologist is required.

*Other conditions:

Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, experience with children.
