The worker will report to the employer’s administrative office located at 7533 Gilley Avenue, Suite 315, Burnaby, British Columbia V5J 0E8, and will perform duties at a building located in Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia
Education:
No formal education is required.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience require
Languages:
Written and Spoken English is required.
Duties:
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of maintenance and repair workers
engaged in building systems, structural repairs, painting, roofing, drywall, insulation,
and related trades in residential and commercial properties.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate maintenance
activities with other departments, subcontractors, and external service providers.
• Inspect work areas and resolve operational or technical issues, recommending
measures to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
• Requisition and manage materials, equipment, and supplies required for maintenance
and repair work.
• Train and guide workers in job duties, safety protocols, and company maintenance
standards.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and performance
evaluations.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports, maintenance logs, and work documentation.
• May manage the daily operations of the maintenance department or own contracting
business.
• May also supervise and coordinate the activities of apprentices, helpers, and general
labourers.
Essential Skills:

planning and organizing
