To support our growing operations, we are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Terms of Employment: Full-time; permanent position
Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Education: Completion of a post-secondary education in an Automotive Technician-related training program
Experience: 2 years of work experience preferred
Shifts: Monday to Friday, may work weekends
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Physically demanding, including lifting heavy parts and tools
- Standing, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods
- Exposure to noise, grease, and automotive chemicals
- Adherence to safety protocols in a workshop environment
Required Skills:
- Class 5 Driver’s license is required
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in vehicles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of automotive repair software and maintenance tracking tools
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and explaining repairs to clients
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, and tire rotations.
- Assist in vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed successfully.
- Create orders and keep detailed records of vehicles, and communicate findings with team members and customers.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
