Creekside Fire Protection Ltd. is looking for one (1) Permanent, Full-time Fire equipment servicer helper who could join us immediately. The details are given below.

Work Location: Various locations near and around Maple Ridge

Office Address:  Unit 200, 20170 Stewart Crescent, Maple Ridge, BC, Canada, V2X 0T4

Position:  Fire equipment servicer helper

Position Available: ONE (1)

Compensation: $27.50 per hour

Hours per week: 30 hours per week

Job duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport tools, equipment, and various materials to designated work areas efficiently and safely.

• Assist in surveying activities by holding stakes as directed. 

• Regularly inspect and maintain fire safety equipment, including extinguishers, hoses, and emergency response tools, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

• Enhance work area cleanliness by regularly cleaning machines and immediate surroundings.

• Assist in managing inventory related to fire safety equipment, ensuring an adequate supply of materials and tools for service and emergency response.

• Assist in the installation of new fire safety equipment, ensuring proper placement and functionality according to industry standards.

• e prepared to respond promptly to emergency situations, supporting the team in deploying fire safety equipment and executing evacuation plans.

• Execute miscellaneous labor tasks to support tradespersons, apprentices, and other team members as instructed. 

Skill Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required

Relevant 1-2 years of experience is required.
